OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has announced that the most advanced model of GPTs will be released soon. Altman also said that in the coming days, there will be a series of advanced ChatGPT 4, 5, and 6 will be released. These advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Chatbots will have the capability of replicating human intelligence and behaviors.
Though Altman hasn’t shared exact details on the upcoming advanced and superior GPTs but has provided enough hints to the global audience and AI competitors.
The release of advanced ChatGPTs 5 and 6 has been shared by Sam Altman in the comments on the latest episode of Bill Gates’ podcast, Unconfuse Me.
ChatGPT 5 Release Date: What We Know About OpenAI’s Next Chatbot?
In a recent episode of Bill Gates’ podcast Unconfuse Me, OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, shared some insights into the upcoming release of ChatGPT 5.
What is GPT 5?
GPT-5, or Generative Pre-trained Transformer 5, will be the successor to GPT-4, OpenAI’s advanced chatbot. This new ChatGPT 5 will have the capability to generate human-like text and engage in interactions. While Altman confirmed OpenAI’s work on GPT-5, no specific release date has been announced.
What Can GPT-5 Do?
According to Altman, GPT-5 and GPT-6 will be the next-generation AI models that will provide more reliable responses with enhanced personalization and multi-modal outputs. The advanced GPT 5 and 6 will have Multi-modal AI that can process various types of content, including text, images, audio, video, and numerical data. While GPT-4 is already multi-modal, Altman stressed the importance of improving reasoning ability and reliability in GPT-5.
In a conversation with Bill Gates, Altman hinted at ChatGPT 5’s capabilities, emphasizing the significance of multimodality, including speech and video, while enhancing reasoning ability and response reliability.
GPT-5 versus GPT-4
GPT-5 will need to surpass GPT-4 Turbo, released in November, which has advanced features such as up-to-date knowledge of world events, longer prompt analysis, improved instruction-following capabilities, and seamless tool-switching abilities. GPT-4 has exceptional performance on real-life exams, including the CFA exam and SAT reading and writing sections. These advanced functionalities will bring more complexity to GPT 5 and 6 to meet.
When Will GPT-5 Be Available?
As of now, OpenAI has not officially announced a release date for ChatGPT 5. However, various reports suggest that, as recently as November, the model had not commenced training. Furthermore, the company faced internal turmoil in late 2023, with Sam Altman briefly stepping down before returning to OpenAI.
If released, ChatGPT 5 promises to be a significant leap forward in the world of AI chatbots, with improved reasoning, reliability, and multi-modal capabilities. While the exact release date remains uncertain, the upcoming AI chatbot can engage with users in even more human-like and intelligent ways.
