Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 17 in San Jose, California. The focus of this event will be to introduce the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series. The event will be globally live streamed on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel at 11:30 p.m. (IST).

“The new Galaxy S series will set a higher standard for the most intelligent mobile experience yet,” Samsung said in the message announcing the date for the Galaxy Unpacked event. “Join us as we unveil the latest premium Galaxy innovations, providing an all-new mobile experience powered by artificial intelligence (AI).”

The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel, beginning at 10 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, and 7 p.m. CET.
The event is not just about hardware; Samsung plans to showcase the capabilities of its AI-powered features. The Gauss model for the Galaxy series is expected to introduce various AI-driven functionalities. Notably, Samsung has confirmed the rollout of the AI Live Translate call feature for Galaxy smartphones in 2024.
