Powered by 20 NVIDIA HGX H100 systems and housing 160 NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, this supercomputing hub offers students a gateway to high-performance computing environments for tackling real-world AI challenges.

Dean Raheem Beyah describes the AI Makerspace as a gateway for students to deepen their AI skills through practical experience, positioning them as future leaders in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence(AI).
Arijit Raychowdhury, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, emphasizes the transformative impact of this initiative, likening it to upgrading from an etch-a-sketch to an iPad in terms of technological advancement.
Undergraduate students enrolled in AI-related courses are already benefiting from the AI Makerspace, with plans to integrate it into the curriculum of all eight engineering schools. By spring 2025, all Georgia Tech engineering students, both undergraduate and graduate, will have access to this invaluable resource.
Additionally, the upcoming AI Makerspace Omniverse, set to launch in 2026, will further enhance learning opportunities by integrating augmented and virtual reality.
Looking ahead, Georgia Tech plans to expand the AI Makerspace with the introduction of the AI Makerspace Omniverse, a sandbox for augmented and virtual reality.
