Douwe Kiela’s career began as a Researcher and IT Consultant at Efdrie in 2004. After four years, he joined The IP Company as a Software Engineer, where he worked on classified communications projects for the Royal Dutch Navy for a few months.
Kiela then interned at IBM as an Extreme Blue Intern in Amsterdam, developing a prototype application and business case for a new product.
