If you are an AI Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with significant contributions to design, development, and research, then Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg may email you with a job offer, and that too without an interview. 

At the global level, AI-qualified people are in high demand, as all the tech giants like Google, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia, and others are looking for AI Scientists and ML Engineers with an average salary range of 2.5 to 10 million per year. 

According to a report by Mercer | Mettl, the most sought-after AI jobs in the next 10 years will be machine learning engineer, Artificial Intelligence (AI) product engineer, and data scientist. According to the report, titled ‘Talent Acquisition Insights’, attracting top talent is the biggest hiring challenge, with 40% of companies struggling to hire the best talent.

In a recent development of AI Scientist hiring, Meta is reportedly hiring AI talent quite aggressively. A fresh report says that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is looking to hire AI researchers from its competitor, Google. 

According to a report by The Information, Zuckerberg has personally mailed several Google DeepMind staff, hoping they would join Meta. Besides personal mail from the boss himself, Meta is also luring prospects with higher salaries and offering to join without even conducting any interviews. 

Additionally, the company has reportedly adjusted its policy on salary negotiations and considering higher salaries for employees with competing job offers. This move is to hire experienced AI talents from the industry to develop and build Meta AI as a competitive platform as compared to other potential players.
