Designed in a captivating shade of orange by Teenage Engineering, the R1 boasts a 2.88-inch touchscreen, an analog scroll wheel, dual mics, a speaker, and a versatile “360-degree rotational eye” camera. Users primarily engage with the device through a “Push-to-Talk” button, activating the Rabbit OS to listen and respond. The OS employs the Large Action Model (LAM), allowing it to execute tasks through interfaces rather than traditional APIs or apps.

Founder and CEO Jesse Lyu demonstrates the R1’s capabilities in a controlled video demo, showcasing its proficiency in tasks such as booking an Uber, providing recipes, and identifying music samples. The LAM innovation enables the R1 to learn and repeat tasks based on recorded user actions.
