Talking about the events, media outlets have recently shared information about posts that a TikTok user, who said that she is Freeman’s niece, published, which contains the narration made by an AI clone of the actor. Freeman’s other voice-overs are also credited, offering the touching and impassive voice to the March of the Penguins and the Netflix series Life on Our Planet and being the voice of CBS News.
Freeman’s complaint is similar to that of actress Scarlett Johansson, who also demanded the company cease; she threatened legal action after OpenAI replicated her voice after it refused to obtain the license from her.
