Krutrim, an AI business owned by the Ola Group’s Bhavish Aggarwal, revealed on Tuesday on its social media platform X that it has begun to host Meta’s recently unveiled Llama 4 open-source models on its cloud platform. Krutrim asserted that it was the first AI firm in India to install Meta’s Llama 4 models on local servers.
“Krutrim was among the first AI firms in the world to install Meta’s Llama 4 models on local servers. According to the statement, Krutrim offers 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick for between Rs 7 and Rs 17 per million tokens. In artificial intelligence, a token is typically a word, character, or phrase that is part of a larger data collection and is used by platforms to process queries.

DeepSeek AI models with 8 billion to 700 billion characteristics are currently available on Krutrim from China, with token prices ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 60 per million.
“Krutrim Assistant V2 is also getting ready for its premiere later this month. DeepSearch, a tool intended to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data searches, will be one of the main features of the next edition, according to the statement.
Krutrim was founded in 2023 and provides several no-code platforms, including GPU-as-a-service and model-as-a-service. After collecting $50 million in a round led by Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India), it became a unicorn in January 2024.

Under the INR 10,037 Cr IndiaAI Mission, the startup has also proposed to the government to develop indigenous AI foundational models. Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of information technology, stated earlier this week that the review of the submissions is in the “final leg” and that the center will grant money to the first few businesses that are chosen.Â
