The primary focus was the introduction of three new AI models under the Firefly generative Artificial Intelligence brand: Firefly Image 2, Firefly Vector, and Firefly Design. These models improve image generation, text-to-image capabilities, and instant template generation, respectively.
Firefly Image 2, a significant leap in image quality and creative control, delivers higher-quality imagery with improved rendering of details, such as skin, hair, eyes, and hands. It also allows for photorealistic adjustments like depth of field, motion blur, and field of view. This addresses previous criticisms that Adobe Firefly lagged behind competitors in generative AI capabilities.

One notable feature, Generative Match, enables users to apply the style of a reference image to new generated images, ensuring brand consistency. Prompt Guidance helps refine text prompts for better results, providing users with greater control over their creative visions.
Firefly Vector is touted as the world’s first AI model focusing on vector graphics. It combines Adobe’s vector expertise and AI to generate graphics, such as logos, icons, and patterns directly in Illustrator, handling complex tasks like gradients and seamless repeating patterns. It produces organised, editable outputs to simplify working with AI-generated vectors.
Firefly Design powers instant template generation in Adobe Express, making it easy for users to access AI-generated social media posts, flyers, posters, and more by providing a text description. This model leverages Adobe Stock images, fonts, and Firefly’s image generation to create personalised templates.

Adobe also introduced Adobe GenStudio, a solution aimed at helping large companies scale on-brand content creation while ensuring brand consistency and governance. Adobe Express gained new generative features, including image editing through text prompts, intelligent templates based on descriptions, and multi-language translations in over 45 languages. Additionally, Express received AI drawing and painting brushes and integration with Adobe Experience Manager Assets, facilitating content scaling for enterprises. Features like Resize make it easy to reformat content for various social platforms.
