Edward Tian Net Worth – Founder and CEO of GPTZero

Artificial intelligence (AI) content has flooded the internet in the past few months. It had gotten to a point, where it was hard to discern AI-written content from a human-written one. However, a 22-year-old and his equally young friends founded a software to combat this problem.

Twenty-year-old, Edward Tian founded GPTZero, one of the most reliable AI detection software available in the market. The recent Princeton University graduate wrote the code in three days while sitting in a cafe.

Who is Edward Tian?

Edward Tian is a young entrepreneur and computer scientist who is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of AI detection software called GPTZero. He started writing the code for the software on New Year’s Eve and finished it in just three days.

He named the software GPTZero. It leverages ChatGPT to determine the extent of AI involvement in generating a given text to check whether there is minimal or significant input from the AI model. Initially hosted on a free platform, GPTZero became so popular that the site crashed.

Impressed by the software’s sudden success and potential, the hosting platform then provided Tian with the resources needed to scale GPTZero’s services to a wider audience.
