Elon Musk filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, claiming that they have strayed from the initial mission of the artificial intelligence startup, prioritizing profit over advancing humanity.
Musk, formerly a co-founder but now without any ownership stake, lodged the lawsuit in San Francisco, alleging that the company’s partnership with Microsoft has compromised its original goal of developing open-source technology free from corporate influence.
Why Elon Musk Filled a Lawsuit Against Sam Altman:
Musk, who is the CEO of Tesla Inc., has been highlighting the potential threat associated with AI and artificial general intelligence (AGI).
