How To Use Cara App?
You can use Cara as a portfolio, a social media account, or a mix of both. There are 2 tabs on your user profile:
- Timeline: everything you post goes on your timeline. This includes regular posts, reposts, and quote posts.
- Portfolio: this tab is akin to a highlights folder. When making a post, you can choose the “Add to Portfolio” option and select what posts to show in this section. If you uncheck it, the post will be hidden from your portfolio page, but remain on your Timeline and shown to your followers.
“Add to Portfolio” lets you choose if a post should be seen in your profile Portfolio tab.
You can change the setting “Add to Portfolio” during the upload or edit post.
You can choose to showcase all your posts in your portfolio, or be selective and highlight only a few. It’s entirely up to you.
Profile About & Open to Work Settings
On your profile page, you can edit the About tab to add a long version of your bio, resume, links, and other information.
You can also select your Open to Work availability with the options: Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract/Freelance, and internships.
The setting is available as a filter option when someone searches for artists on Cara.
