Chairman Mukesh Ambani stated during RIL’s 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday that Jio is creating a Jio Brain suite of platforms and technologies that covers the whole AI lifecycle.
Ambani stated that Reliance would build gigawatt-scale artificial intelligence (AI) ready data centres in Jamnagar, Gujarat, using the company’s green energy.
“We also plan to create multiple AI inference facilities across our captive locations throughout the country, which we will scale up to support the growing demand,” he stated.

According to him, Reliance wants to produce the lowest AI inferencing cost in the world. Our goal is to make AI more accessible to anyone. We’ll collaborate with top international businesses to lower the cost of AI applications.
Jio Brain: What is it?
According to the chairman of RIL, Jio Brain helps businesses to quickly use AI throughout Jio, resulting in quicker choices, more precise forecasts, and a deeper comprehension of customer needs.
“We are also starting to use Jio Brain to drive a similar transformation across other Reliance operating companies, and to fast-track their AI journey as well.”
Ambani continued, “I anticipate that by perfecting Jio Brain within Reliance, we will create a powerful AI service platform that we can offer to other enterprises as well.”

Jio Cloud AI:
Ambani revealed a Diwali promotion for Jio AI-Cloud, giving Jio customers 100GB of free storage.
Starting this Diwali, we want to introduce the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer, which will make cloud data storage and AI services driven by data accessible to everyone, everywhere. It’s a strong and cost-effective option. In addition, To safely save and retrieve all of their images, movies, documents, and other digital content and data, Jio customers would receive up to 100 GB of free cloud storage, according to Ambani.
“An additional key focus of our internal research is digital. We’ve filed patents in the areas of 6G, 5G, AI-Large Language Models, AI-Deep Learning, Big Data, Devices, Internet of Things, and Narrowband-IoT,” he declared, promising that Reliance’s continuous technological revolution would catapult the business into a new era of hyper-growth and increase its value over the long term.
