Our popular caller ID service, TrueCaller, has recently announced a partnership with Microsoft and will bring in a new feature in the upcoming days that would allow customers to use AI-powered call assistants to respond to phone calls. This means that customers can answer phone calls in their own voice without actually responding in person over the call.
TrueCaller has been very impressed with Microsoft’s Personal Voice Assistant and likes to integrate the same feature for themselves. This feature is powered by the Azure AI speech program. TrueCaller has revealed that this program will only apply to people who have premium subscriptions.
Microsoft’s AI Speech:
It is a type of voice assistant feature that enables a user to replicate their voice in such a way that the AI can use it within the app to respond to calls. It was launched in November 2023. Also, it has the power to translate from one language to another and also assists in content creation.

A Revolutionary Way To Manage Calls
With this partnership, Truecaller will be able to offer a great feature that will allow users to replicate their voice digitally and answer calls. This revolutionary feature will make an authentic simulation of the customer’s voice and enable them to answer phone calls.
“This groundbreaking capability not only adds a touch of familiarity and comfort for the users but also showcases the power of AI in transforming the way we interact with our digital assistants.” – Raphael Mimoum, Product Director and General Manager of Truecaller. He also added, “We firmly believe that the personal voice feature will revolutionise the way our users manage their calls and elevate their overall experience with Truecaller Assistant. We look forward to further exploring the potential of AI-powered voice technologies in partnership with Microsoft and delivering even more innovative solutions to our global user base,”
Truecaller expects that this feature will bring in new experiences to their customers and allow users to easily manage their calls.
This partnership between Microsoft and Truecaller has the potential to make a revolutionary change in the way we answer calls. It is one of the latest examples where organisations are using AI to replace the actual voice of humans by creating a simulation of it. With such radical developments in the field of AI, we can expect that there will be more customised human-like interactions with AI-powered digital assistants.
