Other platforms, such as Indeed, report a staggering increase in searches for generative AI jobs, surging almost 4,000% in the last year.

According to insights exclusively shared by Indeed and ZipRecruiter, here are the five most sought-after remote AI jobs that pay $100,000 or more:

Data Scientist: With an average salary of $127,128, data scientists play a crucial role in extracting insights from data.

Software Engineer: A key technical role, software engineers command impressive salaries and are in high demand across industries.

Data Engineer: Bridging the gap between data science and infrastructure, data engineers earn competitive salaries as they design and construct data architecture.

Research Scientist: Contributing to cutting-edge advancements, research scientists are pivotal in driving innovation, with salaries reflecting their expertise.

Product Manager: Managing AI product development, product managers command the highest average salary at $153,698, reflecting their strategic importance.

The data compiled from ZipRecruiter and Indeed, highlights a robust demand for these roles, with salaries consistently surpassing the $100,000 mark. What’s notable is that all these roles can be executed remotely, aligning with the evolving work landscape.

Notably, the surge in demand isn’t limited to technical AI roles. While positions like software engineers and data scientists have experienced steady growth, companies are also seeking professionals with AI literacy for non-technical roles such as supply chain specialists and sales managers, according to LinkedIn.
