LinkedIn Introduces AI Features for Premium Users to Enhance Job Search

LinkedIn, the leading professional social network, has rolled out new AI-driven features exclusively for Premium users, aimed at revolutionizing the job search experience. These advanced tools enable users to perform intricate job searches using natural language, receive personalized resume and cover letter feedback, and access enhanced learning resources. While these features are currently available only to Premium members, they promise to significantly streamline the job-hunting process and assist professionals in advancing their careers more effectively.

Tomer Cohen, CPO at Linkedin offered more details about the upgrade in a blog post he wrote on Wednesday, where he explained that, among the features, it is now possible to search for jobs using normal question words. For instance, a user can advance search for ‘remote marketing job openings in Detroit that are paying $110,000 and above’.

The job search can be quite complex, especially when one is looking for employment, for a change, or has relocated to a new company. LinkedIn has been assisting working professionals in their careers and the job search process in general through various features, and now, the members of LinkedIn with the Premium status shall benefit from Artificial Intelligence’s improvements.

LinkedIn announced new artificial intelligence tools on Thursday unveiled during its LinkedIn Premium that assists people in their job search, crafting the perfect cover letter or resume, and advancing their careers through courses, coaching feedback, and more.

Potential roles, location, salary, actual function—when looking for a job, one may get tired of trying to list all those points. For that reason, companies’ conversational job search has been adopted in LinkedIn.

There is also a feature that will be added to increase the effectiveness of resumes and cover letters in LinkedIn. People can scan their CVs and get job recommendations along with tips on how to match it with specific ads that will make the employers sit up and take notice. Besides, LinkedIn helps in generating a cover letter,, which takes time to write and helps in choosing the right job vacancy to apply for.

What’s the catch?

Unfortunately, LinkedIn has decided to make its new AI technologies for searching for jobs available only to premium users. LinkedIn has stepped up the process of helping job seekers find their desired job in the following ways: By using natural language prompts to provide people with feedback about their resumes and cover letters and expanding the learning resources available, it is making it easier for people to search for a job.

Thus, this new AI feature has been a game changer for job seekers. With AI, users can search for a job that actually fits their criteria. However, the feature can only be used by premium members.  This feature can also help with cover letters, applications, and resumes.
