The Meta AI Startup Program is a four-month AI accelerator program for European entrepreneurs creating cutting-edge AI products on open-source foundation models. Meta aims to move these initiatives’ development and market launch along more quickly.
To ensure that businesses not only progress technologically but also bolster their market presence, Meta teamed with renowned European organizations, including Hugging Face, Scaleway, HEC Paris, and Station F. These partnerships allowed Meta to offer a combination of technical mentoring and business expertise.
From early October to early February 2025, five firms at the MVP or product stage will receive acceleration through this program, which is housed at STATION F in Paris, the largest startup campus in the world. Applications are open to startups from around the EU. A panel of judges from Meta, Hugging Face, Scaleway, and the HEC Paris Incubator will choose the best ideas based on how well they use open foundation models and integration plans.
Selected firms will have access to Hugging Face’s tools, Scaleway’s computational resources, and technical mentoring from Meta to develop services based on open-source AI technology.
