NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote set the stage for the event, introducing the NVIDIA Blackwell platform designed to usher in a new era of AI computing.

The integration of the NVIDIA Blackwell GPU architecture into the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor centralized car computer. This integration enables the deployment of generative AI applications and intelligent copilot features, enhancing vehicle safety and driving experiences.

Key industry players, including leading electric vehicle manufacturer BYD announced its adoption of DRIVE Thor, positioning it as the AI brain for its future fleets,  underscoring the widespread adoption of NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure in the automotive sector. 

Partnerships with leading electric vehicle makers and the utilization of NVIDIA’s AI platforms for cloud-based development further emphasized the industry’s commitment to leveraging AI for innovation.

Several cutting-edge vehicles powered by NVIDIA’s technology were showcased on the exhibition floor, including the Aurora self-driving truck, Lucid Air electric sedan, and Volvo Cars EX90 flagship SUV.

These vehicles exemplify the integration of advanced AI technologies to deliver safer and more enjoyable driving experiences.

The NVIDIA auto booth featured displays highlighting the wide adoption of the NVIDIA DRIVE platform by automotive partners such as Bosch, Lenovo, and ZEEKR. Additionally, numerous automotive partners, including Ansys, MediaTek, and SoundHound, made significant product announcements, underscoring the industry’s commitment to innovation.

The event also saw discussions on lidar advancements by Luminar and Robosense, as well as software offerings for autonomous driving by Helm.ai. Major automotive players like Ford, General Motors, and Jaguar Land Rover participated in sessions covering topics ranging from data center applications to autonomous vehicle development.
