How NVIDIA and Google Cloud Will Empower Startups With AI Innovation

NVIDIA and Google Cloud are teaming up to empower startups worldwide with access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure, accelerating the development of generative AI applications and services.

NVIDIA and Google Cloud have announced a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at turbocharging the development of generative AI applications and services for startups worldwide. Read here for official release

This partnership, introduced at Google Cloud Next ‘24, combines the resources of the NVIDIA Inception program and Google for Startups Cloud Program to offer startups access to cloud credits, technical expertise, and go-to-market support, enabling them to deliver value to customers at an accelerated pace.

Through this collaboration, qualified members of NVIDIA Inception will gain expedited access to Google Cloud infrastructure, with access to up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits for startups focused on AI. While Google for Startups Cloud Program members can leverage NVIDIA’s resources, including Deep Learning Institute course credits, hardware, software, and more.

The collaboration extends beyond financial support, offering startups fast-tracked onboarding to Google Cloud Marketplace, co-marketing opportunities, and product acceleration support. This initiative aims to alleviate the high costs and barriers associated with AI investments, particularly for startups seeking to innovate in the AI space.

One of the key highlights of this partnership is the optimization of Google DeepMind’s Gemma models across all NVIDIA AI platforms. Leveraging NVIDIA’s TensorRT-LLM and NIM microservices, startups can accelerate the performance of Gemma models, reducing costs and speeding up innovative work for domain-specific use cases.

Looking ahead, Google Cloud will introduce A3 Mega instances powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, doubling the GPU-to-GPU network bandwidth and expanding the availability of NVIDIA-accelerated generative AI computing. 

Additionally, NVIDIA’s upcoming GPUs based on the Blackwell platform, including the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72, promise unprecedented performance for AI workloads, further propelling innovation in the field.

With this collaboration, NVIDIA and Google Cloud are empowering startups to accelerate AI development, paving the way for groundbreaking advancements in generative AI applications and services. This underscores their commitment to fostering innovation and driving the future of AI technology forward.
