Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, underscores India’s critical juncture in the AI ecosystem. Speaking at the Global AI Conclave, Chandrasekhar highlighted India’s pivotal position, referring to the country as being at an “inflection point” in the AI ecosystem. Contrary to the massive resources required for previous initiatives, he believes that AI’s success in India does not demand a comparable scale.

Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, receives acclaim from Priyank Kharge, the state’s IT minister, who envisions the city becoming the world’s AI capital. From transitioning from a global call centre hub to a disruptive force in global innovation, Bengaluru aims to secure a prominent position in the global innovation index.

Chris Miller, author of ‘Chip Wars,’ highlighted the employment potential in chip packaging, while Yotta Infrastructure’s CEO, Sunil Gupta, announces the launch of Shakti Cloud, positioning it to compete with industry leaders like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft, marking a significant step in India’s cloud service offerings.
