Lenovo’s NVIDIA-powered systems have been optimised to run the secure and stable NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, providing organisations with the support they need for production AI. With the inclusion of the NVIDIA NeMo™ framework, enterprises can create enterprise-grade large language models, leveraging the latest retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technique and fine-tuning methods.

At the core of this collaboration are the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675 V3 server and ThinkStation PX workstation, both optimised for production AI running NVIDIA AI Enterprise. The ThinkSystem SR675V3, for example, includes NVIDIA L40S GPUs, NVIDIA BlueField®-3 DPUs, and NVIDIA Spectrum™-X networking. The ThinkStation PX expands AI capability and data centre performance for desktop users, enabling up to four NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Ada GPUs in a system.

Lenovo and NVIDIA are also planning to develop next-generation systems based on the flexible NVIDIA MGX™ modular reference design, catering to the demands of the most challenging generative AI workloads. This initiative will support businesses in implementing immersive simulations and cognitive decisions at scale through NVIDIA Omniverse™, a platform for connecting and developing OpenUSD applications.

The Lenovo solutions will play a pivotal role in supporting the VMware Private AI Foundation in collaboration with NVIDIA, streamlining the adoption of generative AI for hundreds of thousands of VMware customers.
