Bhavish Aggarwal’s Krutrim Will Power Kumbh Sahayak App for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. and Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder and CEO of Krutrim, announced that Krutrim will run the LLM services for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s AI chatbot, the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app.

The software was created for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, regarded as the world’s biggest religious event. Prayagraj will host the Paush Purnima Snan on January 13, 2025, marking the start of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. 

The religious celebration will end on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri, February 26, 2025. With its innovative fusion of technology and culture, the chatbot seeks to improve devotees’ experiences in the city.

With features like personalized GIF responses, interactive conversational skills, and Google directions, the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot hopes to make the event seamless and interesting for millions of attendees.

“@Krutrim will provide LLM services for the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak app—an AI chatbot launched by Hon. PM @narendramodi ji today,” Aggarwal announced on his X profile on Friday. 

“This chatbot for Maha Kumbh 2025 will redefine the experience of all the devotees in Prayagraj, marking a milestone in uniquely Indian cultural-tech convergence,” stated the creator of Ola.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a puja at the Sangam Nose on Friday before launching development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore to upgrade the city’s infrastructure and services for the Maha Kumbh 2025.

Every twelve years, the Maha Kumbh brings together old traditions, cultures, and religions. Millions of devotees from all over the world attend the event.

In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, thousands of devotees, sadhus, and spiritual leaders will gather for special ceremonies and a sacred bath at Sangam, the meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the fabled Saraswati rivers, as part of the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela.

Bhashik, a multimodal language center that can translate videos into multiple languages, is another AI developer app that Krutrim is releasing.

By 2026, Krutrim also intends to manufacture its first AI silicon chip.
