Bennett University Launches School of AI, Aligns with India’s AI Mission

The School of Artificial Intelligence was launched by Bennett University to recognise the crucial role that AI education plays in shaping India’s economic growth. This program aims to progress the field through basic research, innovation, and the creation of AI leaders, innovators, and thinkers. It aligns with the larger objectives of the India AI mission.

The School of AI, an innovative program in India, aims to reframe artificial intelligence (AI) in fundamental computer, mathematics, and physics components and establish connections with several industrial and research applications. An academic board with members from top colleges, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, and other significant industries develops innovative courses.

Students study artificial intelligence (AI) and practical coding starting in the first semester. The focus is on the broad foundations of the field and on positioning students as creators of AI approaches rather than merely consumers. 

Every AI course includes a 20% research component to ensure lifelong learning and foster a problem-solving culture. For example, the School of AI expects every student to build their own multimodal AI models instead of depending on publicly available models like Gemini, ChatGPT, and others.

The School of Artificial Intelligence offers cutting-edge seminars and workshops that connect professionals globally by adopting an inclusive posture and actively participating in interdisciplinary relationships with top universities, science foundations, and industries. In light of this, teachers and students are at the forefront of the AI revolution.

The degree course of B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence can specialize in fourteen areas, covering a wide range of industries such as Fintech, Agri-tech, Legal Tech, and more. The School of AI’s Gateway programs improve judgment and lower human error in finance management by educating students about the possible professional applications of artificial intelligence.

Students and professors will work on research possibilities in a variety of professional sectors, such as media, finance, healthcare, etc., or they will drive technological innovation and create the future of autonomous systems, thanks to state-of-the-art labs and advanced computing facilities. 

Professors as well as students will also get the opportunity to work together in alliances with top sectors of the economy. The School of AI also offers a Ph.D. program in artificial intelligence, which is evidence of the organization’s dedication to advancing AI research.

Dr. Ajith Abraham, an AI research scholar with 34 years of experience, will head the School of Artificial Intelligence to develop a welcoming environment to promote diversity and creativity among the people.
