Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2024 from June 10–14: Here is What to Expect

Apple WWDC2024 is scheduled to be conducted from June 10 to June 14. The entire conference is available online for all developers, with a special event at Apple Park on June 10.

Apple has officially announced the dates for Worldwide Developers Conference 2024 (WWDC 2024), set to begin on June 10 and continue till June 14. WWDC24 will have a special focus on iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, visionOS and tvOS advancements. 

Apple WWDC will allow all developers and students to be part of the special event at Apple Park on opening day in person. This also opens doors for developers to interact with Apple experts, and learn about new tools, features, and frameworks to uplevel their apps and games.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, said “We’re so excited to connect with developers from around the world for an extraordinary week of technology and community at WWDC24”. 

He further added, “WWDC is all about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them make something even more wonderful.”

What can we expect from WWDC 2024?

  • Online Conference: Developers and students can experience the Worldwide Developers Conference to discover the latest Apple software and technologies online from June 10 to 14 on the Apple Developer website, Apple Developer app, and YouTube.
  • Video Sessions: This year, WWDC will have video sessions, which will open the door to interacting with Apple designers and engineers and connecting with the worldwide developer community.
  • In-Person Experience – Developers can watch the keynote at Apple Park on June 10, meet with Apple team members, and take part in special activities. Developers will have free access to the event but as the space is limited so check the Apple developer site and app to know the process to apply for attending the event.
  • Swift Student Challenge – Apple program aiming to uplift the next generation of developers, creators, and entrepreneurs. Apple will notify this year applicant’s on March 28 about their status. Winners can apply to attend the in-person event at the Apple Park. Moreover, 50 distinguished winners for their outstanding submissions will also have the opportunity to go to Cupertino for a three-day experience.

Everyone is eyeing the WWDC 2024 to know about Apple’s stand in the introduction of generative AI to its operating system. Apple has been in the news recently for acquiring Darwin, deals with Baidu, and partnerships with Google, etc.  

Let’s see how the events unfold at WWDC 2024. Apple will share additional conference information in advance of WWDC24 through the Apple Developer app and website.

WWDC24 will include an in-person experience on June 10 that will provide developers the opportunity to watch the keynote at Apple Park, meet with Apple team members, and take part in special activities.
