Amazon Music Rolls out Maestro; An AI Playlist Generator for Android and iOS Users

Amazon Music has rolled out a new feature called Maestro, an AI-driven playlist generator that helps you create any playlist you can think of—plus all the ones you can’t. This feature is rolling out in beta to a small number of U.S. customers on all tiers of Amazon Music.

Amazon Music has launched a new feature called Maestro, which lets users create playlists in an easy and fun manner using Artificial Intelligence. Just type whatever is going on in your mind and let the Maestro do its job. The text prompts could be long-short text, emojis, music, any emotion, situation, or selected from the given suggestions.

According to the official blog, Maestro is currently in beta and available only to users in the US on Android and iOS platforms. The feature is right now available for Free, Prime, and Unlimited Amazon Music subscribers to a handful of people in the US.

Amazon Music Subscribers can listen to their playlists instantly and save them for later, while Prime members and ad-supported customers can listen to 30-second previews of their playlists before saving. Amazon Music might expand access to more customers over time.

How to Use AI Playlist Using Amazon Maestro?

  1. Download the latest version of the Amazon Music mobile app on your phone.
  2. Customers who are in the beta will see Maestro either on their home screen or when they tap the plus sign where they usually create a new playlist.
  3. Talk or type your playlist idea.
  4. Tap “Let’s go!” to stream your playlist.
  5. Save and share with friends.

What are the Prompts for Amazon Music’s Maestro?

Amazon Music’s Maestro feature lets you save and share the AI-generated playlist with your friends and vice versa. Some of the Maestro prompts currently trending are:

  • 😭 and eating 🍝
  • Make my 👶 a genius
  • Myspace era hip-hop
  • Music my grandparents made out to
  • I tracked my friends and they’re all hanging out without me

Amazon also warned through its official blog saying “As you play around, just remember that the technology behind Maestro is new and won’t always get it right the first time. We’ve also implemented systems to proactively block offensive language and inappropriate prompts.”

Amazon Music will use the user feedback to improvise Maestro to make it the best and safest experience for everyone. Amazon has been working religiously on its AI products to bring in the best for its customers.
