Altman Vs Musk or ChatGPT Vs Gork; AI Market is Heated with CEOs’ Squabbles

The launch of Elon Musk’s new “Grok” artificial intelligence (AI) system may not have yet made waves throughout the machine learning community or directly threatened the status quo, but it’s certainly drawn the attention of Sam Altman, the CEO of ChatGPT maker OpenAI.

The new-age technology industry has recently seen CEOs squabble on which Artificial Intelligence AI is superior. The argumentative social media post from Sam Altman (CEO of ChatGPT maker OpenAI) and Elon Musk (SEO SpaceX and Gork AI) has created a ripple in in AI space. What is GPT-4 Turbo and How is it Better from GPT-4 and other Versions?

In a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Altman compared Grok’s comedic chops to that of a grandpa, saying that it creates jokes similar to “your dad’s dad.” Apparently, Musk in his response, which he claims was written by Grok, started off by tapping into a comedic classic, rhyming “GPT-4” with the word “snore,” before throwing in a “screen door on a submarine” reference. In a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Altman compared Grok’s comedic chops to that of a grandpa, saying that it creates jokes similar to “your dad’s dad.” Moreover, Musk remarked that humour is banned at OpenAI and added, “That’s why it couldn’t tell a joke if it had a goddamn instruction manual” before stating that GPT-4 has a “stick so far up its ass that it can taste the bark!”

Elon Musk: GPT-4? More like GPT-Snore

Altman and Musk were both original co-founders of OpenAI. Musk left the company before it became highly successful and was valued at $2 billion. After OpenAI’s success, largely due to its advanced AI models GPT-3 and GPT-4, Musk suggested a six-month break in AI development. He was concerned about the risk of advanced chatbots causing harm to humanity.

Six months after this suggestion, Musk’s company, X, introduced a new chatbot model, claiming it’s better than ChatGPT. He named it “Grok.” “Grok” is designed to create funny texts, similar to the humor in “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” a famous science fiction book known for its clever and witty humor.
