2023 showed a remarkable number of students moving to the US to pursue education at universities in the US. This is because of the prospect of having a brilliant career, and notable figures like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella are drawing more attention.

With these excellent career opportunities, numerous students are moving abroad, especially to the US, to pursue their dreams. 

Effects of Generative AI

Recently there has been a surge in the popularity of artificial intelligence and machine learning and this has led to many students switching their careers over to this field. This trend has made nearly five-fold rise in data analytics and computer forensics application

US Tech Industry: A Legacy of Indian Success

Indians always had a history of thriving in the US Tech Industry with people like Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai leading the biggest tech industries around the world like Google and Microsoft. Indian students are eager to follow in these footsteps gain experience and excel in their careers. The US tech industry has a diverse talent pool as people like Andrew Ng and Fei-Fei Li have substantial influence in the AI field.

In the past Indians have always made a lot of benefit from STEM programs in the US as it gave them exposure to many different aspects and also established some of the big organizations like Infosys and Wipro. There has been a notably growing relationship between Bengaluru and Silicon Valley over the past decade, especially with an increasing number of American Firms in India.

Some of the important factors as to why Indians are moving to the US are:

  1. Excellent Career Opportunities – With new and improved technologies and having access to new technologies, students are moving to US universities to improve their career opportunities.
  2. Good Impact on their Career: Going abroad and studying shows how excellent they are in their career and thus they have good exposure to recent developments in this field.
  3. Rapidly Growing Industries – Technology has been developing in recent years at a much faster pace than ever before and this gives students a chance to develop and nourish their careers.
  4. Excellent Record Of Indians in US Tech Industry – India and the US always had good mutual respect between each other and with more and more students moving there is beneficial for both countries both in terms of political and technical as well

As AI and other industries are evolving, the US continues to be a growing inspiration among students who want to make their careers out in this tech field. With excellent facilities and vast opportunities, students are creating a mutual and beneficial partnership between these 2 countries, which in turn will help in both technical and economic growth for both countries.
