He then served as Senior Vice President and Chief Learning Officer at TELUS till 2006, during which time the company became globally recognized for team member development. 

Then, Blair was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Corporate Officer, leading HR and corporate functions. He was named one of the top 10 HR leaders in the world at the 2012 Global HR Leadership Summit. 

From 2014 to 2019, he served as Group President, overseeing TELUS International, TELUS Health, TELUS Agriculture, TELUS Business Solutions, and TELUS Ventures. During his tenure, TELUS International grew to a $5 billion enterprise value and TELUS Health reached approximately $800 million in annual revenue. 

Blair also supported the Sandbox Project, served on the Business Council of British Columbia, and was part of Canada’s Health and Biosciences Economic Strategy Table. 

In 2020, Blair became Vice Chair and Audit Chair at Carebook Technologies Inc.
