According to a top official, the international technology company Zoho Corp has invested in the drone startup Yali Aerospace, which is based in Tamil Nadu and delivers medical supplies to hospitals in rural areas.
Dinesh Baluraj and Anugraha founded the Thanjavur-based drone startup Yali Aerospace in 2022, with the stated goal of “delivering easy-to-use technology for civil and military use purposes.”

“We are happy to announce our investment in Yali Aerospace, a drone startup based in Thanjavur led by the husband-and-wife team of Dinesh Baluraj and Anugraha,” stated Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho Corp.
To begin this, they have returned to their hometown of Thanjavur from the Netherlands. The duo has developed a fixed-wing drone that can take off and land vertically, which addresses the issue of delivery.
According to him, the drones can reach a maximum speed of 155 km/h and have a range of up to 150 km with a 7 kg payload.
Meanwhile, StartupTN, an organization supported by the Tamil Nadu government, commended Yali Aerospace on obtaining funding from Zoho Corp.

It continued, “The success story of the Thanjavur-based startup is a testament to their dedication and innovation.”
After receiving regulatory approval, the business plans to carry human organs and, within the following three years, launch an unmanned aerial ambulance service.
The business is also targeting other markets, such as those in Africa and Europe.
