India’s latest innovation in the smart product category has been introduced by IIT Mandi catalyst incubated Wellnesys through a yoga mat. The next-generation mat will enable users to achieve associated and engrossing yoga exercises using the adaptability of time and place.
The company’s website claims that “YogiFi tracks the user’s vital signs, sleep, and stress and offers personalized coaching, empowering them to effortlessly optimize their well-being. Users can also access curated yoga, meditation, and breathing sessions designed by expert trainers and practice at their convenience across a variety of devices.”
The company has assured that the product will not be privacy-invasive since it will not even take images of its users when practicing yoga postures, but will instead rely on patented sensor fabric technology that will monitor the yogic positions and offer immediate corrective feedback on how the user was supposed to execute the asana.
