IITs Offering B.Tech in AI and Data Science

The Institute of Information Technology (IIT) is one of the top-notch engineering institutions in India. Lakhs of students apply, but only a hundred get through. To get into undergraduate programs, you have to take the JEE Advanced exam.

In 2024, about 180,200 folks tried this test, but only roughly 48,248 made the cut. This exam is tough because the subjects are hard, and there’s tons of competition. The pass rate is pretty low, which makes it tough to pass.

However, the number of students being admitted will increase this year. Why? Look around you; the world is evolving rapidly, leaving everything behind, and so is the technology.

Therefore, this prestigious institute has brought out some interesting courses that specialise in B.Tech programs in AI and data science. These courses are tailored to help students gain the skills they need to do well in the tech world.

Around 10 IITs are offering this B.Tech degree in AI and Data Science. Looking for the proper list so that you can apply there and get hands-on experience in this field? Don’t fret.

This article gives an easy-to-read list of these IITs, the courses they offer, and what JEE Advanced rank you’ll need. It’s a helpful resource for students looking to kickstart a career in AI and Data Science at these respected schools.

  • There’s no fixed age limit, but some IITs may have their own age rules.

State of Eligibility:

  • Your state code depends on where you passed Class 12, not where you live.
  • For example, if you studied in Delhi but live in UP, your state code is Delhi.
  • If you passed in one state and took improvement exams in another, the original state still counts.

NIOS Students:

  • If you’re from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), your eligibility is based on the location of your study centre.

Indian Students Abroad:

  • If you studied in Nepal or Bhutan, use your permanent Indian address for eligibility.

OCI Candidates:
