Enabling Audio and Video Calls:

To activate this feature, users can navigate to the settings within the microblogging website. The option is presented as a simple toggle switch. Users also have the flexibility to control who can initiate calls to them. They can choose to limit call access to those in their address book, those they follow, verified accounts, or any combination of these.

Making Audio and Video Calls:

To make use of audio and video calls, the first step is to ensure that the app is up-to-date. Once updated, follow these steps:

Settings: Go to the app’s settings.

Privacy & Safety: Within the settings menu, find and select “Privacy & Safety.”

Direct Messages: Navigate to the Direct Messages section.

Enable Audio & Video Calling: Look for the option to enable audio and video calling within the Direct Messages settings.

Start a Conversation: To initiate a call, send a direct message to the desired contact. In the upper-right corner of the conversation, you’ll find a phone icon, which you can click to start an audio or video call.

This exciting development follows an announcement by Elon Musk, the owner of X and the world’s richest person, confirming the impending launch of audio and video calling on the platform.
