Upgraded Grok-1.5 Chatbot
Elon Musk took to his X handle, formerly Twitter, to confirm the news of the launch of Grok 1.5 by next week. Grok 1.5 comes with the features of advanced reasoning and the capacity to understand long contexts. Elon Musk also said that Grok 2 is under training and might overtake existing AI.
The latest Grok 1.5 model will initially be available only to early testers and existing Grok users on platform X in the coming days.
As per the official blog by xAI Grok 1.5, it showed remarkable results in coding and math-related tasks. It achieved a score of 50.6% on the Math benchmark and 90% on the GSM8K benchmark.
These benchmarks cover a wide range of grade school to high school competition problems. Grok 1.5 additionally scored 74.1% on the benchmark of HumanEval. It evaluates code generation and problem-solving abilities.

Earlier this month Elon Musk released the Grok model to open source community. Grok was open-sourced under Apache License 2.0, allowing commercial use, modifications, and distribution.
However, it cannot be trademarked, and users do not receive liability or warranty. The code for Grok can be downloaded from its Github page or via a torrent link.
Grok-1.5 is built on a custom distributed training framework based on JAX, Rust, and Kubernetes. This training stack enables to prototyping ideas and training new architectures at scale with minimal effort.
Grok-1.5 will soon be available to early testers, and xAI looks forward to receiving customer feedback to help them improve Grok.
As they plan to gradually roll out Grok-1.5 to a wider audience, they might introduce several new features over the coming days.
