Oracle has partnered with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation to launch the Naan Mudhalvan program, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping over 200,000 students with cutting-edge technology skills. This program will provide training in AI, cloud computing, data science, and blockchain, ensuring that Tamil Nadu’s youth are prepared for future job markets. With Oracle’s industry-recognized certification, participants will gain valuable expertise that can significantly boost their career prospects in the growing digital economy.

Tmt. J. Innocent Divya, managing director, Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, stated “Tamil Nadu ranks among one of India’s top 12 states with a growing youth population. As part of our responsibility to provide youth and young professionals with a platform to upskill themselves and achieve their career goals, we launched Naan Mudhalvan. We already reach 1.3 million students through this initiative and with Oracle, we hope to train over 200,000 of them on new technology skills that could have a positive impact on their future career opportunities.”

Training

In the initiative, students will be provided with training on certifications on the modern technology front, such as Oracle cloud, data science, artificial intelligence – machine learning, and blockchain, among others. The training will be in the form of classroom instructions by educators and scholars via the campus curriculum, while a larger supplement of these learning modules will be available in Oracle MyLearn platforms.
