OpenAI adds ChatGPT to WhatsApp

You can now use ChatGPT on WhatsApp. You can use the chatbot using Meta’s messaging app as of right now if you add 1 (800) CHAT-GPT to your contacts, which is 1 (800) 242-8478. You still get all the features of the o1-mini model; however, ChatGPT is restricted to text-only input in this version; therefore, there is no Advanced Voice Mode or visual input available.

Additionally, via WhatsApp, ChatGPT is accessible anywhere. OpenAI provides its chatbot without requiring an account. Although OpenAI did not provide a release date, the business is working on a method to verify current users over WhatApp. Notably, Meta has its own chatbot available on WhatsApp.

In addition, OpenAI is starting a ChatGPT helpline in the United States. The number for that is once more 1 (800) 242-8478. As one might expect, the toll-free number is compatible with all phones, including flip phones and smartphones. Through the hotline, OpenAI will provide 15 minutes of free ChatGPT use; however, you can go into your account to extend that time.

During the last 12 Days of the OpenAI webcast, Kevin Weil, the company’s chief product officer, stated, “We’re only just getting started on making ChatGPT more accessible to everyone.” Weil claims that a recent hack week the company hosted gave rise to the two features. In other recent live streams, OpenAI has removed the closed preview of its Sora video generation and made ChatGPT Search accessible to all free users.
