Microsoft Designer, an AI-powered app for creating personalized designs, is now available on iOS and Android. With templates for stickers, cards, invites, and more, the app allows users to edit, restyle, and create collages on the go. Initially accessible via Microsoft Edge, the Designer app is now free for Windows, iOS, and Android users. Integrations with Word and PowerPoint further enhance its utility.
Microsoft Designer AI App Now Available on iOS and Android
The AI-powered Designer app from Microsoft is now available for iOS and Android users to download. With Microsoft Designer, you can make personalized stickers, greeting cards, invites, and more using templates. Designers can also use AI to edit, restyle, and produce collages from photographs.
The designer was first accessible via Microsoft Edge or the web, and it has been in preview for about a year. It is now widely accessible as a free app for Windows, iOS, and Android to anyone with a personal Microsoft account. It is creating and editing photographs while on the go is possible with the smartphone app.

In addition to the standard text prompt for creating graphics, Microsoft Designer offers a wide range of templates that you may use to create a variety of items, including coloring book pages, greeting cards, social media posts, icons, and wallpaper. In the mobile edition of the software, Designer also offers you to use its avatar creation.
Designer is another tool for AI picture editing; it lets you restyle pre-existing photos and add artistic borders created by AI. In addition, the Designer allows you to add text and branding to images, adjust and remove backdrops, and eliminate people or objects from pictures.
In addition to offering Microsoft Designer as a stand-alone program, Microsoft has been integrating Designer into other programs like Word and PowerPoint through Copilot. Word and PowerPoint users can create graphics and designs directly within Copilot Pro, and Microsoft is shortly going to release a new banner image generator specifically for Word documents.

Today, Windows Insiders will also have access to Designer within the Photos app on Windows 11, which offers tools like auto-cropping, filters, background removal, and object erasure from within Photos. Microsoft has been experimenting with sending photos from Photos to Designer, but to save you time, it has now integrated the functionality directly into Photos. Microsoft Edge will eventually have similar functionality as well.
AI-powered photos and designs may be created or edited with Microsoft Designer, which comes with 15 free daily boosts when it launches from preview. According to Sumit Chauhan, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Office product division, “Boosts are automatically used whenever you’re creating or editing images or designs, both in the Designer app and where Designer is integrated across Microsoft apps. You can get 100 boosts every day by upgrading to a Copilot Pro subscription.”
