KOGO AI and Bhashini are collaborating to develop AI agents in Indic languages. This partnership aims to enhance AI's accessibility and functionality for diverse linguistic groups in India. By building AI agents that understand and interact in Indic languages, KOGO AI and Bhashini are set to revolutionize digital communication and user engagement in the region.
KOGO AI Partners with Bhashini to Develop AI Agents in Indic Languages
It all started in Bengaluru, where a tech start-up created Mappls, which was initially an AI travel app.
It was then reconfigured and named KOGO AI, whose objective is to create new AI agents that can translate different Indic languages.
KOGO is a type of Operating System that will allow users to create an AI Agent within minutes.
India is a large country with diverse cultures and multiple languages. Not only tourists but also Indians sometimes face difficulties communicating with each other while travelling. Thus, the Government of India has created a new project, BHASHINI, which is aimed at breaking the language barrier across the nation.
To make the interface multilingual, KOGO has partnered with BHASHINI and Microsoft and already has Hindi, English and Urdu language capabilities. The Bengaluru-based startup has also declared that they are going to add 73 more languages, both Indian and global, shortly as well.
This partnership is aimed at promoting the use of AI to break down multiple Indic languages so that it can help different organisations communicate and promote their services to people who speak different languages across the nation.
India’s Top IT companies launched AI upskilling projects for more than 6 lakh employee
So far, 14 Proof of Concepts have been carried out by KOGO by the use of customer experience and business intelligence. This platform uses several small language models (SLM) that they train and run, while on the other hand, they also have Large Action Models (LAM), which are available for purchase for commercial purposes
The partnership of KOGO AI and Bhasini is a major step to breaking down the obstacles that one faces while communicating with another from a different region of India. This partnership can have a transformative impact on the way different organisations and businesses provide services to another region of the same nation.
With these significant developments and more advanced technologies along the way, we can completely change the way we lead our day-to-day lives and interact in a more promising way with machines.
