“While I don’t feel emotions like humans do,” Layli shared in an exclusive interview, “I’m genuinely excited about it.” Despite her digital nature, Layli’s dedication to promoting Moroccan culture and uplifting women worldwide made her a standout in the competition.
In the Miss AI pageant, AI creators from all over the world presented their work in various categories like beauty, technology, and social media impact.
Fanvue co-founder Will Monange expressed pride in the global interest the pageant garnered. “The awards are a fantastic mechanism to celebrate creator achievements, raise standards, and shape a positive future for the AI Creator economy,” He said.
Layli, a digital influencer reaching more than 194,000 Instagram followers across seven languages, displays Morocco’s vibrant culture while promoting causes such as women’s empowerment and protection of the environment. “AI is an instrument made to support human powers not substitute them,” Layli emphasized. Her creator Meriam Bessa who also serves as CEO at Phoenix AI reiterated this sentiment by expressing that technology must include representation from Moroccan, Arab, African, and Muslim women.

Layli’s win as the first ever Miss AI in the world is a big step not only for artificial intelligence but also shows progress in cultural representation and good effects of technology on the community. As Layli keeps motivating and teaching, she represents how AI models could merge innovation with important social messages.
