Google and GoI work together to improve health infrastructure

Google’s health research team has assisted NHA in creating tools that make it easier for developers to integrate with the machine architecture. According to Patel, this could cut the time it takes for app integration from up to six months to less than two weeks. Kiran Gopal Viska, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission’s mission director, also joined Patel on stage to talk about it in detail.

Our goal is to use technology to close the gap between patients and healthcare practitioners, expedite procedures, and eventually bring about a paradigm change in Indian healthcare. Our goal is to decrease fragmentation and promote transparency by promoting interoperability and establishing connections among stakeholders. According to Viska, this will improve patient-centeredness and efficiency in the delivery of healthcare.

India will be able to give each patient more individualized treatment with the use of AI-powered technologies. The National Health Authority is carrying out Google’s partnership with the Government of India’s ABDM as part of this commitment.

Additionally, starting in the upcoming year, Google Wallet users will have access to ABHA health ID cards through a partnership with Eka Care. These cards allow users to easily store, share, and receive digital health information with healthcare groups across the nation. To add or access their ABHA ID in Google Wallet, holders of ABHA IDs will need to authenticate their devices using a fingerprint, PIN, or passcode to protect their privacy.
