Technology has been proven to be the best companion for mankind. There are not one or two, but zillions of apps and websites for almost everything. One such tool is Microsoft Swift Key. It is an advanced, third-party keyboard available for iOS and Android devices that allows you to type faster with different writing styles.

Read this article to learn more about Microsoft Swift Key and how to spend less time correcting your typos and more time saying what you mean.

What is Microsoft Swift Key?

Microsoft SwiftKey is a virtual keyboard app. It was first made available for Android in July 2010 and then, after Apple added support for third-party keyboards, was released for iOS in September 2014. The smart and snazzy keyboard is fully customisable with AI smarts, and the best part is that it’s completely free.

This all-in-one app brings AI smarts to your fingertips and any app with a text box. You can use it as a personalised keyboard to type and send emojis, GIFs, and stickers just the way you like.

Also, the Microsoft SwiftKey comes with Copilot to help you toggle anything in your favourite apps. It is designed to improve the ease and accuracy of your typing, no matter how or what you type. The advanced error correction tool can also help you write error-free copies and make better predictions.

What are the top Features of Microsoft Swift Key?

Microsoft SwiftKey is packed with features to make typing faster and easier. It seamlessly types in up to five languages without switching settings in the Android version, whereas it types in two languages on the iPhone version from the 700+ supported languages. The various features of Microsoft Swift Key are:

Fast and accurate: It can spot your misspellings, missed spaces, and missed letters and correct them for you.

Personalised Typing: Customise the toolbar with your favourite typing tools, including GIFs, clipboards, translators, stickers, and more.

Type with a Swipe: Easily slide from letter to letter with SwiftKey Flow.

Learns from you: Microsoft SwiftKey learns your writing style to suggest your next word. Enter a whole word with a single tap, instead of typing letter by letter.

Cloud clipboard: Sign in to copy and paste text between your phone and your Windows devices.

Task capture: Sign in to save tasks right from your keyboard, and manage those tasks from Microsoft To Do.
