Tony Connolly Net Worth – AccountsIQ CEO and Founder

Tony Connolly is a veteran business executive with 30 years of experience in technology and finance. He founded and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of AccountsIQ, a cloud-based Financial Management Software (FMS).

Tony Connolly is a Chartered Accountant who founded and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of AccountsIQ, a cloud-based Financial Management Software (FMS). It simplifies capturing, processing, and reporting financial information across multiple locations. The platform also offers tools to automate tasks like consolidation, budget management, audits, digital VAT returns, and cash flow.

Connolly quit his job as a partner in an accounting firm to found AccountsIQ, his Dublin-based company, in 2005. He saw an opportunity to harness the power of the Internet and took it to deliver a cloud-based FMS to manage multi-entity businesses on a single platform.

The company won the UK Mid-Market and Enterprise Accounting Software of the Year Award for two years in a row in 2018 and 2019.

“I had been advising tech entrepreneurs for a long time and now I was at the coalface myself starting something from scratch. I didn’t foresee that it would take as long as it did to get the business up and running or indeed that the global recession would hit as we launched AccountsIQ – so it was probably more of a risk than I realised when I left my job.”
