Snehal Antani earned a Computer Science degree from Purdue University in 2002, with minors in Economics and Political Science. During his time at Purdue, he completed two senior research projects. Snehal Antani began his career at IBM, where he held various roles for over a decade. Starting as an intern for the WebSphere Application Server for the z/OS development team in 2000 and 2001, he developed features for the Object Request Broker (ORB), and EJB Container, and worked on server performance issues. He later worked as a developer for the WebSphere Application Server for z/OS. From 2005 to 2006, he served as a developer for WebSphere XD, focusing on systems management and z/OS integration features.

In 2006, Antani transitioned to a senior management role, becoming the Senior Managing Consultant and Worldwide Technical Lead for WebSphere XD. During this time, he led technical consulting efforts globally. He was the Senior Product Manager for WebSphere Cloud & Virtualization Technologies, responsible for overseeing cloud strategy across IBM.
