Marc Benioff’s entrepreneurial side kicked in when he was in high school. He developed an application called “How to Juggle” and sold it for $75. At the age of 15, Benioff founded Liberty Software in 1979, producing and marketing Atari 8-bit titles like Flapper and King Arthur’s Heir.

When he was in college, Benioff Marc worked as an intern at Apple Computer. He worked on the Macintosh 68000 Development System during the summer of 1984. His role involved writing example assembly language programs, providing him with early exposure to the tech industry. 

Following this, Benioff joined Oracle Corporation, where he served for over 13 years, eventually reaching the position of Senior Vice President. During his tenure at Oracle, he gained valuable experience and insights into enterprise software and cloud computing.

The information was dug up by investigative journalist Kara Derr, of NPR. She revealed that Benioff’s Hawaii property encompasses over 600 acres of land. He has purchased 29 properties totaling over 580 acres in Waimea, as well as nine additional totaling approximately 25 acres in beach resorts. One of his seaside homes encompasses the entire public beach. The overall market value of this land is nearly $100 million.
