Sweet finished her J.D. degree in 1992 and became a partner in the Corporate department of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, a law firm. Her practice as an attorney at the firm encompassed a broad range of corporate matters, including representing underwriters, private equity funds, and corporate clients in public and private financings. Julie also provided counsel on mergers and acquisitions.
